2007 Paramount preview

8 years agoby:
100%

The studios are banging out their 2007 previews at a click nowadays, and today it's PARAMOUNT's turn to show us what they've got under their umbrella. If you didn't get a chance to take a look at the rest of the studios' slates, check them here and now: SONY, WARNER BROS, UNIVERSAL and NEW LINE CINEMA.

So far, I have to admit that Paramount has a number of films that I want to see pretty badly including the much-hyped TRANSFORMERS, the great David Fincher's latest called ZODIAC, the very funny-looking BLADES OF GLORY, as well as 2 other potentially great comedies in HOT ROD, starring the "funny guy" from TV's "Saturday Night Live and the super-hottie from WEDDING CRASHERS (Isla Fisher, now engaged to Borat's alter-ego, Sasha Baron Cohen), as well as the aptly titled THE FARRELLY BROTHERS PROJECT.

I'm also quite curious about Robert Zemeckis' BEOWULF, Antoine Fuqua's SHOOTER (which looks like a heck of a lotta fun) and STARDUST, with a dang interesting cast and filmmaker pedigree. Heck, even NORBIT and SHREK 3 might not be too bad, and something tells me that Halle Berry will be disrobing in THINGS WE LOST IN THE FIRE (her underwear?), so kudos to much of their line-up, in my opinion. As per usual, click on any of the pics below for more info on the film, or check out the entire list of 2007 UPCOMING MOVIES. Your thoughts?

BEE MOVIE!

I have been waiting so long for Bee Movie, I'm just hoping it is 1/100th of my expectations and I'll be a happy man.

So far so good. Zodiac is the biggest flick for me out of that line up, but there's some other good ones in there too by the look of it.

Next

From what I understand, Next starring Nicolas Cage, just moved from Columbia/Revolution to Paramount recently and comes out April 27th. I found out on comingsoon.net.

Is it just me or does it look like there are more Dreamworks movies lately compared to Paramount?

hmmm

There kind of looks to be a pretty big gap in the summer where they aren't releasing too many movies.

Oh my, is that the Neil Gaiman story brought to the big screen? Most interesting.

I'm definitely gonna go see Zodiac, Transformers, and Shooter. The rest look pretty bad.

PRETTY GOOD LINE-UP

Transformers is a must for me, so is Zodiac. The rest of the flicks still look pretty solid though.
