Wonder Years was a sitcom? All I know is it looked absolutely uninteresting. Fred Savage. Really?

Thursday night line-up was invented by NBC in the 80's....Cosby, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court. Genius!

I absolutely loved The Wonder Years, with the exception of most of the last season. I really wouldn't consider it a traditional sitcom, since it was an hour long, if I'm not mistaken and it didn't have a studio audience. But it's nice to see it included.

As far as sitcoms go, I loved watching the Cosby Show, Cheers and Family Ties as a kid. And I absolutely hated Married With Children. I'm surprised to see it at the top.

Nothing can beat...

... The Young Ones. British show about 4 house-mates; a punk named Vivian, a mod named Rik, a hippy named Niel, and a shyster named Mike. First aired on MTV in the US back when the channel was actually still cutting edge and played music videos most of the time. The defining sitcom of the '80s.

Three's Company...nuff said. That show was amazing and hilarious at the same time. John Ritter was awesome on that show. This show was classic.

The Odd Couple

The Odd Couple '70-'75 all time favorite sitcom of mine - Tony Randall was born to play the role of Felix Unger! not to mention Jack Klugman - the perfect Oscar Madison.

I am a big fan of Who's The Boss?, but it has to be The Wonder Years. About as close to perfect you will get with a show.

NO MA'AM!

"Married with Children" is the greatest sitcom of all-time and Al Bundy is a god amongst men. That show has more quotable lines than all of today's sitcoms and their seasons combined.

This might date me but, the only shows from that list I did not watch in the 80's were Murphy Brown, Newhart, and Alf.
