I've already seen THE WRESTLER, but it's still at the top of my list.

I want to see it again!!!

The Wrestler will be THE movie of the year... or at least this last half.

Defiance as my most anticipated.
After that, most looking forward to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Yes Man, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Valkyrie, Gran Torino, Seven Pounds.

Should be a great last month of 2008.

While Doubt, Che, and Benjamin Button are all high on my list, I'd have to give it to The Wrestler.

Definately, The Wrestler

Other than that, I'm excited for Benjamin Button, Doubt, Che, Frost/Nixon, Revolutionary Road, Defiance, and Day The Earth Stood Still

I'm not so sure about Gran Torino, The Spirit, Valkyrie, Brothers Bloom, and Defiance. They could all go either way.

The others all look pretty bad

Defiance

Zwick's last 2 movies were fantastic (Blood Diamond & Last Samuri) and he's becoming one of my favorite directors. The preview looks great, and Craig rarely disappoints.

Benjamin Button and Wrestler are also high on the list.

I'm sure to like a few of those movies listed, but Punisher:WarZone is one I'm really hoping is good.

Yeah yeah I have bad taste in movies. Whatever. I just want to be entertained. I'm sure A Curious Case will be good and so will Valkyrie, but those are the type of movies I watch on disc. When I go to the theater I want ultra violence, action, and heavy cgi.

Hard choice

I would go for 'The Wrestler', but had the chance to see it on the Filmfestival in Belgium. I'm highly recomending it, though. And Rourke deserves at least a nomination for his amazing performance in this one.

What would I want to see next?

1. Revolutionary Road (Sam Mendes has only great movies and the cast is impressive)

2. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (I think Fincher can do this! Looks great)

3. Doubt (No doubt, I have the feeling the performances will be

But ofcours I would like to see 'The Day the Earth stood Still', 'Valkyrie', 'Grand Torino', 'Frost/Nixon', 'The Spirit', 'Che' and 'Despereaux' also.

But in the end, my vote went to 'Yes Man'. Between all those dramas, I would like to have a good laugh. And in a year of many let-downs in the genre, there's one thing for sure : Jim Carrey delivers. Always. Even if the film isn't that good. It's never his fault and he's always coming up with hilarious scenes.

(btw, isn't 'The Reader' coming out also? If so, check!)

@ John_Cusack

What's wrong with "Warzone"? It looks like pure b-movie fun and ultraviolence on a level that hasn't been seen in ages, and that's somehow a bad thing?

Valkyrie

I'm looking forward to see how the story of Claus von Staufenberg, the Kreisau Kreis, and Operation Valkyrie is going to work on film. Hopefully, it'll be good because this story should be told more often when people talk about Germans and the third Reich.

Definitely "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Pitt and Fincher know what they are doing when they decide to make movies with one another (i.e. Seven, Fight Club). I'm 100% sure that this movie will be amazing.

By the way deathmetalbrian, you must have a crappy taste in movies. The Punisher? You certainly know how to pick 'em.
