Do you plan on seeing "Land of the Lost"?

F*ckin' aye, that shite looks hil-larious!
I highly doubt it, that shit looks aw-ful with a capital "blegh".
Maybe, depends on the word of mouth actually.
I can't decide. Sometimes it looks funny, sometimes it looks stupid.
Most likely on DVD.

Contrary to jumping conclusions

I enjoy Will Ferrell movies, for the most part, but it would be kind of nice for him to try to approach a role differently. For someone who came from sketch comedy, he's been very one dimensional and probably always will be.

As for the Downey Jr. comment; Really? Really now? I don't know about some people, but I can spot the difference between Iron Man, Tropic Thunder, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Land of the Lost looks like a highly polarizing film, and I tend to like films that do that.

Grumpy

Geesh. Seems like some people need more fibre in their diet.

Ferrell is almost always funny - which is kinda nice in a comedy.

People looking for laughs will probably have fun, and as for you grumps: try Metamucil.

the stop being the same person shit gets old after a while. Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, Will Smith (in MOST of his movies), Downey Jr, etc.. those are all a buncha dudes that r loved yet are pretty much the same person in every movie. Who else doesn't think Downey is just playing Stark with a british accent in the new Sherlock Holmes trailer?

Why single Ferrell out? Give it a break. Not every man is Oldman.

what are you saying? carrey and williams are rolling in dough! I think carrey is like one of the top paid actors in hollywood. The only reason there not making money at the time is because carrey and williams are lamely trying to become dramatic actors at least ferrell is sticking to his roots and not selling out for an oscar. even though carrey should have got a nom for spotless mind, his best movie imo. contradicting yes haha.

studboi69,

because Will Ferrell is the only one making any real money off his schtick. Ferrell hasnt made a funny movie since Old School. His only worthwhile role since has been in Wedding Crashers.I hope he fades into obscurity soon so we can get comedies that are more than just Will Ferrell yelling at people.

Enough of this ridiculous hate on Will Ferrell. He's still hilarious and "Step Brothers" was one of the most underrated comedies of last year. And it's not like he's the only comic star who relies on one shtick. There's Jim Carrey and his over-caffeinated, rubber-face persona. There's Robin Williams and his "voice impersonator" schtick. So why single Will Ferrell out?

They should just cast Will Ferrell as Will Ferrell. Why bother creating a name for his latest "character" that's just him being himself?
