300: Rise of an Empire and All You Need Is Kill have been pushed back

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Were you looking forward to seeing 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE and ALL YOU NEED IS KILL? Hope not because both have been pushed back.

It’s not due to reshoots or anything like that. Simply seems like a strategic move. I guess they decided it was not best to pit the 300 sequel against 2 GUNS starring Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington. People will definitely see that, but I think that 300 has a fair chance here especially with the love for the first film. You won’t be seeing it this year at all. It was originally slated for August 2nd but will now debut on March 7, 2014. The first film came out in March too. The only film they have to worry about with that is the animated update of Mr. PEABODY AND SHERMAN.

Doug Liman‘s sci-fi flick ALL YOU NEED IS KILL starring Tom Cruise was moved from March to June 6, 2014. For some reason they thought it would be better to release it the same weekend as TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. But it has Tom Cruise so I have no worries. A butt ton of people will go see TMNT though no matter how much everyone is distraught by it.

Which of these movies were you looking forward to seeing? Are you disappointed by the 300 switch?
