I'm saying Percy Jackson. Dont think Valentines Day will hold up after a couple of weeks.

Valentines Day is a one weekend movie. It's a crap film, you can see that clearly form the trailer. It was custom made for this weekend, and no other! Chicks went because they were basically told too and they obeyed, and guys went with those chicks purely to get pussy. It will drop like a stone next weekend, 60% or more. Wolfman will fall reasonably by 50% or so, Percey might fair a little better. Shutter Island should take number one, and I wouldn't be surprised if Avatar came up a spot or two

My girlfriend actually wanted to see "Wolfman" quite badly. She had NO desire to see "Valentine's Day". Works for me!

With Shutter Island coming out next week, and Valentine's Day being over there is no way "Valentine's Day" has any staying power. This isn't the type of weekend you take your special someone to see a dark film. I don't think Wolfman will have a better week next week, but I do think it will have staying power.

Ya... i agree V Day played a huge part in sales.. BUT a $20 mil gap is pretty hard to overcome... land considering none of these flicks have rousing critical or WOM buzz going for them, i don't see that $20 Mil gap being made up by the end of the run, just one mans thoughts

Valentine's Day did over 50 mill on Valentine's Day weekend. Can't tell me that wasnt a factor? Im pretty sure V-Day is gonna drop significantly with either Wolfman or Percy JAckson claiming the number 2 spot next week easily.

Valentine's Day did over 50 mil this wekeend, while Wolfman hit about 30 mil.. plus horror movies generally have a large drop off, and thats WITH Good word of mouth, which Wolfman doesnt have... Valentine's Day looked really good, but the reviews have been shit, and i havent heard much wom on it yet, and percy jackson, just looks stupid! Chris Columbus needs to get back to his Home Alone days!
