Grudge casting

01.15.2004

Looks like THE GRUDGE is finding more people to kill. Actresses Clea Duvall and Kadee Strickland have both landed roles in the upcoming horror flick from director Takashi Shimizu and producer Sam Raimi. They join WB alumni, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jason Behr when production starts on January 26th in Tokyo, Japan. This is the second time Clea and Kadee will appear in the same movie, they were also in GIRL INTERRUPTED together. Clea may also seem familiar to you (that's her in the pic) from roles in the under-rated CAN'T HARDLY WAIT, THE FACULTY and more recently in the thriller IDENTITY and 21 GRAMS as Naomi Watt's best friend or sister or something of the sorts. She also has a major part in HBO's drama Carnivāle and stars in the made-for-TV remake of HELTER SKELTER coming out this year. Kadee Strickland has played some minor roles in THE SIXTH SENSE (as a dead person, I think) and last year's SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE with Jack Nicholson. She'll also be in 2004's highly anticipated ANACONDAS: THE SEARCH FOR THE BLACK ORCHID as a snake. Just kidding, she's too short.
