Out of that list, I have only seen two of them (Iron Man 2 and Inception). However, I feel confident in voting for Inception, because it's likely better then the whole lot. That movie really churned my butter.

It's funny.. as phenomenal as Inception is, Toy Story 3 was right there with one of the better movies I've seen in a long time.

I think this one is a little too easy. I went with the obvious choice, Inception, which may very well also be the best film of the year. However, I am pleasantly surprised to see Scott Pilgrim in third. Still bummed it did so poorly at the B.O., but I guess there is definately an audience for it there.

Better summer than 09'

I voted Inception but for the record am stating here that Toy Story 3 was equally extraordinary, if not better. It was a fun summer. Better than last year's. And next year's gonna' be epic I hope...with a bunch of superhero flicks and Super 8 and a whole slew of cool movies coming out.

The Girl Who Played With Fire?

Maybe? (even though it currently only has a small, limited release)

Noomi Rapace definitely gives the best performance of the year (so far).

Actually thought it was a great summer for film; fun three months!

I loved Inception but . . .

For some reason i saw the headline and my gut instinct was to look for TS3. Just something about the Toy Story movies that draws more from my heart than anything else. If TS3 wasn't an option it would be Inception hands down.

When does Summer movie season officially end?

When is the summer movie season technically over? Does anyone know or does every have their own definitions of the term?

Based on everything so far though, Inception.

I have always thought of the summer movie season as going from beginning of May to end of August, but YMMV.

My personal favorites so far this year are Kick-Ass and The Karate Kid....

(I forget whether or not Kick-Ass was a summer release).

Inception was good, but not what all the hype made it out to be.

Not really any of the listed ones.
Inception is (obviously) overrated as hell (again, just like the Dark Knight, but hey, Mr Nolan is the current mass hype, so be it).
Best made of the ones listed is Robin Hood.
Best one.. hasn't come out so far - at least if you can't count Mr. Nobody (which is 2009 in the US I think).

Yeah, I know, it's such a shame we have someone who actually makes good film in Hollywood AND people like them for a change. But, you said Robin Hood was the best film of the summer, so I guess I don't need to argue here.

Tough to decide

I choose Inception clearly, but I feel like this summer wasnt nearly as bad as people are saying. I loved Iron Man 2 and Toy Story 3 just as much as Inception but for different reasons. Also off topic: What the hell is up with the ads on this site? I'm not really complaining but it seems like "Nanny McPhee Returns" isn't exactly meant for this sites target audience...

Inception, of course........

More than half these movies on this list don't even deserve to be on there. Believe me, I've seen all of them except Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Inception

I voted for Inception but in a very close second is Toy Story 3 which is a masterpiece as well. Honourable mention to Knight and Day. Biggest disappointment was Iron Man 2 which was only saved by Sam Rockwell.

hell yeah

i voted for Inception, obviously, but if I had a top 3 it'd be Inception, Toy Story 3, and Splice. huzzah to all those giving Splice the cred it deserves!! Iron Man 2 and Predators were the only other films ive gone out of my way to see, they were both "eh". compared to last year, this summer sucked for movies.

i picked Iron Man 2

for just sheer fun, I had the best time at IM2. i liked inception (saw it twice) but didn't love it. admired it more than anything. toy story 3 was also amazing but not being a huge fan of the first two probably took it down a notch. however, i had a blast at IM2, thought it was great (better than the first) and that's why i'm voting for it. otherwise, this summer sucked.

This summer sucked!!!

But Inception was the best, by far! Toy Story 3 was awesome as well, but that was more for nostalgia reasons (for me anyway). Everything else was just plain forgettable. Although I did thoroughly enjoy MacGruber, I haven't laughed that hard in a movie for awhile (although that could be because I was high as a kite when I saw it?)

IRON MAN 2

followed very closely by toy story 3 and scott pilgrim.
i haven't even seen inception yet and even if i did it probably wouldn't even make my top 10 list,i just don't see the appeal,i'll wait for the dvd rip online i might like it but not like you guys.
Also i still have to see piranha this week,it's the last summer movie i'm looking forward to.
all in all it's been a decent summer, next summer looks much better.

Inception, but tied with Toy Story

I would say Toy Story and Inception tied for my favorite, but I liked Inception a tad more. Second was probably Expendables, and 3rd hmmmmmmm, wait what the hell, who picked Twilight??? Really? Go join Yahoo movies fan club or something!

I rank it Inception - (1), Splice - (2), then Iron Man 2 - (3). These are the only 3 movies I've seen this summer. Still holding out hope for a Toy Story 3 matinee.

The only films I've seen on this list are Inception and Splice. I'll probably watch TS3, Scott Pilgrim, and Iron Man 2 eventually. Aside from that I am not even interested in any of these.

Tough choice between Inception and TS3

but I'm going with Toy Story 3, mainly because Pixar's been so consistently awesome over the past 15 years.
