MOVIE POLL: Will you be checking out "Saw 3D"?

10.24.2010

Will you be checking out "Saw 3D"?

F*ckin' aye, definitely next weekend!
Yeah, although this better be the last film in the franchise!
It depends on the "word on the street".
On DVD/Blu-Ray someday...
I got sick & tired of the "Saw" movies a few years ago, so no.
I've never seen any of the "Saw" movies and won't be starting now.
Yes, but only because it's Halloween next weekend.

YES!

3D = stupid. Saw movies= great. Not "great" like oscars or crically "great" but as in original horror storytelling. I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

If you weren't so ignorant then you wouldn't be missing out on a great story.

I stopped watching these movies after part three. That's when it went from novelty to boring as piss.

Of course!

How could I not?! It's the final chapter and it's gonna be incredible to see how it all ends. The fact they've made it this far and kept the story so good is extremely impressive. Bring it on!

Absolutely! I've been a die hard fan since the original. Never has there been a film franchise like this--one that has extended beyond the usual trilogy and yet maintained continuity and such rich detailed, multi-layered stories, told in such a sophisticated fashion to make up one complex, intricate story. It's a fantastic series of films and words can't express how sick to death I am of the haters. All I ever hear/read is "duhhhhh...I stopped after ________." Nobody seems to understand what

Nobody seems to understand what the films are about or how they work in the series. People think it should have ended randomly, despite multiple characters' fates being up in the air and a host of things that had been set up but not paid off yet.

I stopped watching the moment they killed Dina Meyer in Saw III. And if that's a spoiler for you, too bad it's been what, 4 years. If you haven't watched it yet... don't bother.

I can not wait for Saw 7. I have not seen the last four in theaters, but will definitely be seeing this one. Should make for one hell of a ending.

I will absolutely see it.....if they have a 2D showing. I skipped Jackass 3 because there was only 3D showings locally. I am done supporting 3D films. 2D or nothing for me.

Holy shit! Thirteen percent say that they have never seen a Saw film. I thought that I was the only one. Why have we thirteen percent skipped the franchise? One wonders.

I'll definitely be checking this out next weekend. To be frank, I'm not expecting much. But it's Halloween and I'm a fan of the franchise so count me in.

I don't hate on Saw... I just haven't seen any of the movies past part 3, so I won't be seeing this one. Also, the trailer for this movie is the worst fucking thing I've ever seen in my life. I don't say that because it looks bad, I say that because of all the stupid fucking 3D hype shit in it. 3D doesn't bother me like some people, but don't fucking use it to sell your movie.

Seen all of these movies at the midnight show and this one will be no different. I love these movies, even though some have lacked, but there has been a through story that has kept me interested and i can not wait to see how the end the series (before the eventual reboot or whatever)

Absolutely :D

Been a hardcore SAW Fan since the first movie came out, I've shown my support all these years, I still love every single SAW film (SAW VI being my absolute favorite), and will obviously see the new SAW regardless of if it really is the last one or not.

I do feel like it is genuinely going to be the last one, though. This will be both a sad and happy thing. Sad because it's the end of one of the biggest parts of my life. Happy because, if it's good, it ended on a high note. Though

Happy because, if it's good, it ended on a high note. Though considering how outstanding SAW VI was, I am not expecting SAW VII to blow me out of the water. I do hope it ends the series on a high note, though.

P.S. There is some confusion about something Betsy Russell said regarding this 'not' being the last SAW. But the story is that SAW VII was supposed to originally be the first part of a two part finale (where SAW VIII would be the actual final movie). This was the plan, to have an epic two-part finale. But after SAW VI's extremely poor box office performance, they decided to backtrack and kick off a different idea, where they would now release SAW VII as the last film. They had storylines written for SAW VII/SAW VIII's finale, but they (Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton) apparently decided to cut the fluff from SAW VII and write in the important stuff to fit in to SAW VII.

Anyways. SAW for life! Thumbs-down as much as you want.

Nice dude, I didn;t know anything about your P.S and that amps me up even more for this flick, that they went back and cut the fluff. Good to know.
