Should Ridley Scott be returning to the world of Blade Runner?

It's a bad idea, stick to something original!
Hell yeah, I'd love to see him back in that universe!
Eh, I don't even really care...

Only if...

It's a completely new, different and separate Philip K. Dick story set in the Blade Runner universe, with no connection to Decker or the other characters in the original film whatsoever.

The only way a remake is acceptable

Is if the original director is at the helm. It's not like Michael Bay is doing a 're imagining' of Blade Runner which I could totally see happening.

Not a Fan of...

... the three choices for the poll. PROMETHEUS is (apparently) an original story that exists in the ALIEN Universe. If Scott follows a similar approach to BLADE RUNNER then it could be interesting and cool. Of course there would need to be some kind of mention of Deckard & Rachael's fate. But an original story is the way to go.
