Hot Chick. Black Leather. DVD.

I\'m one of those people who actually enjoyed UNDERWORLD more than I thought I would when it was initially released in theaters last year. I thought the mood was dark and kick-ass, the plot, intricate enough to intrigue and the characters, despite some issues, entertaining to hang with. Of course, all those vampires and werewolves running around, kicking ass and shooting shit up, also helped. Oh, and did I mention the lovely Kate Beckinsale and her leather-tight ass? I did now. That said, the film\'s most recent DVD release apparently wasn\'t enough to satisfy its backers, so lookie what its May 25th Special Edition release will offer.

According to DVDAnswers.com, on top of 23 minutes of extra footage, the 2-disc set will be packaged in a unique translucent cover, and include a collectible production sketch book, as well as a mini-Underworld comic book. But before you get too excited about the extra 23 minutes, it\'s to note that only 12 minutes of it is actual additional footage, while the other 11 minutes are existing scenes with different angles and takes (not really \"extra footage\", if you ask me) Anyway, click here or the cool cover below to pre-order the DVD from Amazon today and stay tuned to our site for more news on the film\'s sequel, set to begin production this September for a 2005 release. Thanks to \'Devoid-X\' for the head\'s up...
