Unless you're a fan of the novels, it's quite possible that you didn't find the recent teaser for THE HUNGER GAMES to be terribly exhilarating.

But director Gary Ross wants to assure you (whether you're a reader of the series or not) that there are still "epic" and "powerful" things to come, and that you just haven't seen them yet because the movie is, well, still filming.

In particular Ross cites the Capitol, the Mutts, Gale's larger role, and Stanley Tucci's performance as flamboyant host Caesar Flickerman as highlights you'll just have to anticipate and imagine for now. Check out his full commentary with MTV below.

Meanwhile, JoBlo reader 'Katniss Pajamas' pointed out that there's already what would appear to be a viral site for the movie online at TheCapitol.pn, where content is being revealed via "District registration".

At first i was pretty disappointed about the short teaser that basically showed nothing but then i realized this is what teasers are supposed to be. im tired of promotions for movies showing us EVERYTHING. besides we have all the way until March for this thing to come out if a trailer comes out with too much footage now it will become old news by then. I'm happy with what we got.
