Dull competition this year

On your poll list other than Charlize Theron for Young Adult the others I really didn't care if they got nominated or not. On the other hand though that are not on your poll list that I'm very surprised that didn't get nominated are....Thomas Horn, Leonardo Dicaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keira Knightley, Elisabeth Olsen, Michael Shannon, Kirsten Dunst, Melancholia for best picture/director. I mean the list goes on, did they even see all of the movies or flaked out on them? Very strange and

Drive for Best Picture is what I voted for. Gosling should have been nominated for Best Actor.

Very disappointed in the Oscars this year. Several snubs. Hanna should be in every sound category. I picked Drive cause it truly was one of the best films of the year. But all of those choices are apt. They all got snubbed and should have been up there. I wish for once the Academy would take a chance.

It's A Tie

It really was a tie for me between Brooks for 'Drive' and 'Tintin' for best animated. But overall, the noms suckedbig fat hairy donkey balls this year. I am begging everyone, do not watch them this year, pleas!

Michael Fassbender for Best Actor but EVERYTHING else was a damn good cut or omission by the Academy. Drive deserves very little of the over-praise it receives from some people.

Hail Ceasar!

Ansy Serkis as Ceasar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes! The Academy is out of touch with modern audiences, the movies that were nominated for Best Picture were some of the lowest grossing films of the year (granted the highest grossing never means "the best", but it should be taken into consideration).

For me it's definitely Spielberg for best director followed very closely by Tintin for not getting nominated for best animated feature.

With all the Drive bias (for good reason its an awesome movie) I'm glad Fassbender still got the most votes.

I'll be honest, I really wasn't that surprised by the snubs (except for Brooks). As long as the Academy doesn't pull a WTF, I'm not a member so I can't vote, and in the long run it doesn't really matter.

The answer is non of the above. The biggest snub, hands down, was Shailene Woodley for supporting actress. It is criminal that she wasn't nominated.
