Man On Fire

I've very happy to see that a lot of people agree with me about this movie. The movie itself is incredibly underrated and certainly one of Tony Scott's best. But, though I knew he had done some good work in the past, I honestly wasn't a Denzel fan until he did this picture. His performance is a great balance between devastating emotional turmoil and cold-blooded emotionlessness.

KING KONG A'INT GOT SHIT ONNN ME! When Training Day end credits rolled, I knew that Denzel should start working on his acceptance speech for Best Actor

wow this was a tough one as there are some real gems in the mix, but I had to choose Creasy & Man on Fire, because even though we didn't know much about him you can feel that once Pita came into his life & what he went through to find her that it gave him peace in the end.

The fact that I had to choose is something I don't like. Denzel has been my favorite actor in hollywood for a long time. He's the only one that seems to keep getting younger while the rest of us get older.

Glad to see that Training Day and Man on Fire are pretty much tied. Those are definitely my two favorite Denzel roles. Training Day is great because it goes against his "nice guy" image and he nails it. However I had to vote for Man on Fire. Creazy is such a great character. The ending brings a tear to my eyes every time I watch it. Such an underrated film.

Training Day, Man on Fire, Inside Man, Fallen and American Gangster are my favorite Denzel movies.

But I absolutely "hated" Book of Eli, far to "preachy" for my tastes. And like The Road I felt like it could have been so much more/better.

I disagree about Book of Eli being too preachy especially after multiple viewings. Not to the mention the soundtrack is simply amazing. Nice misuse of quotations by the way.

*face-palm*...Whoops! I COMPLETELY forgot about that one. Thanks dude, :D
As for Glory, lets say that one goes without saying, (classic Denzel)
