DON'T FORGET AQUAMAN!!!

I LOVE ALL THE DC CHARACTERS BUT WHY NOT AQUAMAN?! HE WAS AN ORIGINAL AND FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE AMERICA AND DESPITE BEING ON THE RECIEVING END OF SOME VERY UNDESERVED MOCKERY, THE NEW DC 52 PUTS HIM IN AN AWESOME LIGHT HE DESERVES!
I THINK AQUAMAN COULD DEFINETLY MAKE A FANTASTIC FILM! AND A MEMBER OF THE THEATRICAL VERSION OF THE UP-COMING JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE! MY DREAM JUSTICE LEAGUE WOULD BE, SUPERMAN, BATMAN, WONDER WOMAN, AQUAMAN, FLASH, CAPTAIN MARVEL & GREEN LANTERN!

Doesn't have to be a Justice League movie, but something that takes in various aspects of the DC universe would be cool if done right. Aquaman gets a lot of stick from comedy shows, but has a load of potential. Same goes for Wonder Woman - give her the right context and styling and there's some really powerful stories to be told. As long as they avoid cheeziness I think a lot of DC's characters could work cinematically.

Animal Man/Swamp Thing

Give it a shot! That or something funny like Booster Gold and Blue Beetle.

Ideally, DC/WB would do lead-in projects such as Marvel did. The Man of Steel, Flash, Wonder Woman, Plastic Man, Shazam!, and Dr. Mid-Nite (Best Picture of 2015) would each bring fans a step closer to an awesome JLA movie assembling the entire gang such as The Avengers did for Marvel's mighty heroes.
However, IMO, WB needs to make the Justice League movie now, sooner rather than later. Eventually, the general public will tire of superhero movies, but they have not done so yet. So, WB needs to

However, IMO, WB needs to make the Justice League movie now, sooner rather than later. Eventually, the general public will tire of superhero movies, but they have not done so yet. So, WB needs to give dedicated comicgeeks their JLA film sooner (riding The Avengers success) rather than later. And, a film can simply introduce a large group of characters, some of whom certain viewers know and some of whom the general public does not. Just look at the films for X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Losers, Watchmen, and Hellboy's BPRD. In their first installments, those films introduced a whole bunch of known characters. The uninitiated caught on.

Batman

I think they need to make another Batman movie using the version of the Batman they will use in Justice League. Nolan is great but is does not mean other creators or writers or directors won't also have a great vision of the Batman. With this version of Superman already getting ready for the JL movie they need to make another Batman movie and then a Wonder Woman movie to establish the big 3.

The Flash

The Flash should be the next DC Superhero to get his own film. I think a Flash movie has endless possibilities and could be fantastic.

Just cast Chris Pine or Bradley Cooper and be done with it.

I voted JL movie but I'd also be good either Flash or Wonder Woman.

The Flash, once again. He's a solid character and probably the easiest not to screw up in a film. And who doesn't like The Flash?

didn't they do a flash live action movie in the 80s or 90s or is that the Captain America movie I'm thinking about, I would love to see the flash on the big screen and him given justice but I voted for the Martian Manhunter because I don't know much about him and I think if they could get the look right that would be one that would be cool on the big screen

A Batman reboot is necessary, as Nolan's Batman doesn't have the skills to hang with the League. And I think a Martian Manhunter or Wonder Woman picture have tremendous possibilities, but they should come after League. A Green Lantern reboot is not entirely necessary, but he needs a space-based sequel and a visual overhaul. Finally, I voted for the Flash. Solid character, a powerset that hasn't really been done yet, and some of the best villains in comics. It's a no-brainer, which is why when

NO NIGHTWING/ NO Dark Knight SPINOFFS

I don't get why people want to add on to Nolans Trilogy. Any movie that involves JGL as Batman or Nightwing or Robin or Santa; or Hathaway as Catwoman does a serious disservice to Nolans Trilogy and completely ruins the neatly wrapped ending to TDKR. Besides, what could they do in that movie that they hadn't explored in the trilogy?

As for my own answer I think they could do something really cool with Martian Manhunter. Doubtful though as its got the 'Mars Curse'

JGL as Nightwing

This one's too easy. But why waste such a great setup.

Sequel to Green Lantern, Ryan Reynolds did a fantastic job. He just needs more to work with.

Yes! Thank you! Somone else who loved Green Lantern and wants a sequel. People who criticizecthe film and don't like it don't realize that Reynolds was FAR FROM being the problem with the film and if Green Lantern ever does get a sequel, which I hope it does, then I really hope they bring back Reynolds because he was the perfect Hal Jordan and Green Lantern.

Good idea, especially for a stand-alone adaptation. If this happens, hopefully some lessons will be learnt from Constantine, The Spirit and other celluloid misadventures.

In all honesty, the new Man of Steel trailer would have been perfect for an Aquaman trailer. So my vote goes to Aquaman (All Entourage jokes or references aside)

I agree that Aquaman is ripe for re-interpretation. The "Viking"-esque version, the whole story arc about Mera and losing his arm as shown in the Justice League animated show, and Black Manta leading a mercenary army as the main villain. And the "Arthur Curry washed up ashore" thing could be part of it too. Perhaps like a less shiny Thor set underwater.

Well I'd really like a Catwoman spinoff with Jonathan Nolan involved. (Prequel?)
But The Flash & Wonder Woman are tops for new characters getting films.

Wonder Woman. She's the missing third of the "DC Trinity" and is long overdue for a well-done live action adaptation. Watching a video review of the Wonder Woman TV series pilot that thankfully never aired, I was so shocked that something that awful and cheesy could have been made as recently as 2009/10.
