Top 5

1. Warrior
2. Money ball
3. Friday Night Lights
4. Varsity Blues
5. Bull Durham

Do have to say though how can you leave A League of Their Own off the list. Great baseball movie and one of Tom Hanks best.

Sandlot should definitely be on here. Voted for Rocky, but the Sandlot would be way up there for me

Rocky of course. One of the greatest underdog stories ever told. I never understood why, after that, Stallone could never come up with anything that topped it in terms of sheer quality filmmaking.

Rocky, even though its not a story predominately made about boxing, more of a secondary plot.

However, Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius is absolutely a fantastic film.
for any golf fans out there do your self a favour and watch it, also for any one who's a sports enthusiast its a wonderful film.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but

I will watch Days of Thunder every time I see it on TV. Not the best, but goddamn Tony Scott can direct a fun movie.

Man, This Ones Tough...

The Natural is my emotional, serious, gut check all-time sports movie. However, several on that list are also spectacular. I love Raging Bull, Field of Dreams, Hoosiers, Cinderella Man, Sea Biscuit and Rocky. Great movies with a lot of emotion.

Tough call!

Oh wow, this is legitimately a tough call.

Voted Happy Gilmore, but I could have just as easily voted Mighty Ducks, or Dodgeball, or Cool Runnings, or Major League, or Miracle, or Caddyshack, or fucking Angels in the Outfield.

Moneyball or Remember the Titans. If I had to choose though I'd say Moneyball.

Weird list... Most of my favorites aren't even on here. Hoosiers is the best, but where's "Breaking Away," "Chariots of Fire," and "61*"?

After never really fiving it much thought...

I realized looking at this list that I much prefer sports comedies to dramas. I've never had any connection to movies like Hoosiers, Field of Dreams or Rudy, but I'll watch the Sandlot of Caddyshack/Gilmore everytime they're on tv.

Sandlot is my choice though, how did that not make the cut?

For me, there are three: Field of Dreams, Slap Shot, and Any Given Sunday. But for the choices above, how come it's "Rocky I-V"? Shouldn't it be "Rocky I-V + Rocky Balboa" or something like that?
