P.T. ANDERSON'S BEST MOVIES IN ORDER OF GREATNESS (MY OPINION ONLY)

1. MAGNOLIA
2. THERE WILL BE BLOOD
3. BOOGIE NIGHTS
4. PUNCH DRUNK LOVE
I've never seen HARD EIGHT and THE MASTER hasn't been released yet but, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that they are awesome films as well. The man's a freaking genius and in my view the second best director working in Hollywood today. Next to Oliver Stone that is. Yeah, that's right! Oliver Stone! He RULES!!!!

I love Boogie Nights and Magnolia. But in terms of Directing, Screenplay, Acting, Cinematography, Score, etc. There Will be Blood is one of my top 5 favorite movies I've ever seen. It's just an amazingly crafted movie. I'm hoping The Master is just as good.

Might catch some flack for this but ive sat through a few of his films and i always find them to be quite boring. I like a well told, slow burn story, but his films feel more like they plod along. i keep giving him chances though. Maybe one day he'll impress me...

Boogie Nights should have gotten the Best Picture Oscar instead of Titanic. Which of the two would you say has held-up better? Which of the two has more balls, in all sorts of ways? Boogie Nights is thought-provoking, artful, well-acted, epic, and adventurous.

Hopefully his best work is ahead of him

Magnolia was a huge disappointment and Hard Eight is stupid but the rest of his work is very good.

This is the most difficult poll in the history of JoBlo polling.... I'm going with "I just can't pick one", thank God that option is there.

It's too hard to choose between Boogie Nights and Magnolia.
