a few good choices...

Seven Psychopaths is number 1 for me...I loved In Bruges and thought it was the right mix of drama and comedy. To me this looks like the perfect mix of comedy and crime in the vein of snatch and in bruges.
Frankenweenie is an honorable mention just because i loved the original movie when i was a kid and the claymation likes amazing

Sinister

October has always been horror movie month for me.

I'm surprised all the schmoes are hot for Cloud Atlas. I'm going to get a lot of thumbs down for this, but I think it looks like a complete mess. Maybe it's because the trailers aren't doing it justice, but it reminds me of "Movie: The Movie" from Jimmy Kimmel [link]. It just seems all over the place. I will definitely see it, and will do so with an open mind. Prove me wrong, Wachowski Starship... sigh.

CLOUD FUCKING ATLAS

The pod that connects with this film knows who they are. It's gonna be a metaphysical treat like no other!

Cloud Atlas

Sinister gets an honorable mention, as it's shaping up to be the scariest horror flick in years!

Oh wait, Skyfall is an option? Forget what I voted for, I pick Skyfall.

Haha

I'm the only one vote for Chasing Mavericks. I did however vote for this because it was filmed here in my hometown of Santa Cruz, CA (same place as the Lost Boys). It stars Gerard Butler, and is the story of local surfer and friend to many, Jay Moriarity, who died while surfing back in 2001. The man is an absolute legend here in SC, before and after his death.

This movie will be worth it alone to see the absolute epic Mavericks break!

Argo

I really liked The Town and I absolutely loved Gone Baby Gone, so Argo is a no-brainer. Seven Psychopaths is a close second and Cloud Atlas is the most intrueging one, but I have a feeling it's a love it or hate it movie and it could go either way with me. I'll be also checking ouit Sinister, Taken 2 and maybe PA4.

Cloud Atlas - Would have gone with Taken 2 but i'm really curious how this movie will turn out.

Out of those, probably Argo. It seems like a fine piece of cinema. Back in the days of Armageddon and Gigli, who would have thought, that one day Ben Affleck would emerge as good director that he is today?

But, if I can pick something other than one of those, it would be without a doubt, Skyfall. That little film has it's opening here (Finland) on 26th. Can't wait for it.
