Cool Videos: Daniel Craig shows his comedic side in this SNL Promo

Oct. 3, 2012by: Paul Shirey

You may equate Daniel Craig to the stoic, iron-jawed badass known as James Bond, but in this promo for his upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance, the actor lets his comedic side shine through.  It's kind of a relief to see him kick back and have some fun, as Craig is such an intense actor that it seems like he never gets a chance to drop the scowl.  He's always running, shooting, sweating, punching, or looking particularly menacing at every turn.  Nice to see the lighter side of "Bond."

Montage!:

Craig can be seen as his usual arduous persona when he reprises his role as James Bond in SKYFALL, opening November 9, 2012.  He will appear on SNL this Saturday, October 6, 2012 on NBC.

Extra Tidbit: Who would you like to see host SNL that hasn't already?

Daniel Craig was brilliant. Who the fuck was the other guy? SNL seems to have really lost their way regarding finding new comedic talent.

He's been on the show 3 years now and in many other things. He's one of the funniest guys on the show too. If you don't know him, that's your own fault.

I frakkin' hate it when the video that I'd love to watch isn't available in the country where I live. However, thanks to YouTube, Daniel Craig is so funny in the clip. I never know he can do comedy! Extra tidbit: I'm not sure but I'd love to see either Sigourney Weaver or Jamie Lee Curtis host SNL.

Joblo.com is a Canadian movie site right?

You guys are based out of or began out of Montreal or Toronto didn't you? Why put clips on your site that your original audience and biggest supporters can't see? Go find a version that plays in both countries or upload the clips to your own video service so you can share them properly. Stop being lazy, if you get criticized on these boards for one thing it's taking too many shortcuts. It's an easy fix to the solution, even easier than writing letters to your audience telling them to chill out

Very funny and nowhere near as funny as his BBC skit with Catherine Tate.

Pretty funny.

I was quite skeptical when I saw he would be hosting but it looks like he will enjoy himself and have fun with it, making it more fun for the viewers.

Extra tidbit: Nathan Fillion, Aziz Ansari, Simon Pegg, Jim Parsons, Ty Burrell, Breckin Meyer, Mark-Paul Gosselar, Bruce Campbell to name a few.

Thank you for the link, TheTrainman !

I've realised over the years about 1/3 of the movie geeks in various talkbacks are not from the USA. And these stupid "not from the US" are a pain in so many asses...
So thank you from France !
