I kinda wish there had been two polls: one for main villains and one for henchmen. Characters like Blofeld, Trevelyan, and Le Chiffre are not in the same league as characters like Oddjob, Mayday, and Jaws.

I have to agree with the poll and say Sean Bean as Alec Trevelyan. Actually, all the GoldenEye villains were really cool - Famke Janssen was smoking hot and a near-perfect femme fatale as Xenia Onatopp, and Alan Cumming was hilarious as the stock nerdy tech guy but with an evil streak.. Sanchez from License to Kill was great too, you got the immediate sense that this was an incredibly dangerous person who didn't have to be too theatrical about his brutality.

Red Grant for me

The cat and mouse game played between him and Connery on the Orient Express is one of the major highlights for me in the franchise. Also a shout out to Christopher Lee as Scaramanga, he might've been no.1 if the movie used him better and wasnt a giant pile of crap.

Blofeld

Blofeld as played by Donald Pleasance. Such an iconic villain...

But to be fair, Bardem's Silva is really not far behind. You'll love him

I voted for 006

But my opinion could easily change when I see Skyfall this Friday.

Javier Bardem!

What, no love for Javier Bardem? Raoul Silva is by FAR the best villain Bond has faced in years! I really loved Bardem's performance and the way he was obviously batshit insane, yet calculating, incredibly intelligent and downright deadly and dangerous. Most Bond villains usually stay in the shadows and leave their minions to do all the work for them, but he got down and dirty and gave the MI6 a run for their money! Since I can't choose him, I'll go with another disgruntled agent with revenge

Have to go with Shaw's Red Grant. Pleasence's Blofeld is a very close second.
