For those itching to get their musical fill, we have both a 90-second spot and a 30-second spot for the upcoming adaptation of the popular stage musical.á Starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron-Cohen, the Tom-Hooper directed pic is looking to be possibly the best adaptation of the material to date (as there are two other versions already in circulation).á These two spots give a nice helping of new footage, which should tide over the mega-fans until it's eventual release.

Have a look:

I'm not much of a musical fan at all, with only a handful I'd ever watch a second time.á However, it looks like Tom Hooper (THE KING'S SPEECH) has really captured some terrific performances, especially considereing that he shot the performances before the recorded songs, adding to the intensity of the scenes.á It looks to me like it'll pay off, especially with such a bang-up cast involved.

LES MISERABLES is set to debut on December 25, 2012.

Can't wait - now that Skyfall's been out, this is my anticipated film of the remainder of the year.

We'll see.

Don't care for musicals, never really liked the whole Les MisÚrables story and Hathaway, Jackman and Crowe aren't among my favorites, nor is Hooper.

But hey, you never know.

Love it!

Yes this is a musical, but its not the regular Hollywood/sound stage musical. This isnt like Singing in the Rain where everyone sings and dances because its that time again. Nor is it like Chicago or The Producers where we have a song everytime we have a scene change. This is much grander. This is a story of War, Love, and Vengence. This is a very intelegent and emotional story and the music is more suited for an opera hall than a disney film. This is a musical like youve never seen before.
