You missed the best one.

Seriously, no Black Dynamite? The only movie on this list that MIGHT be funnier is Shaun of the Dead, but I think Black Dynamite edges it out. I have never heard an audience laugh as loud as I did at the "I THREW THAT SHIT BEFORE I WALKED IN THE ROOM" moment.

Idiocracy, Pineapple Express, Hot Fuzz and Bad Santa are all such great movies. Can't pick a favorite but I voted for Idiocracy because it's pretty underrated, although its picking up a pretty good cult following.
Also, MacGruber is a guilty pleasure.

Tropic Thunder isn't necessarily my favorite, but it did enough right that I picked it. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Observe and Report, Borat, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Bridesmaids, Little Miss Sunshine, the list goes on. Really, there's been some terrific R-rated comedies particularly since about the mid-aughts. And at least as many are missing from the above list as are featured.

Well, I loved The Other Guys, but it was rated PG 13 so I couldn't pick that. I may be in the minority on this one, but 21 Jump Street was hilarious.

Kind of slim pickings with these. Sadly I find my favorite comedies of the past decade are PG 13. Anchorman and Hot Rod tie for first mainly because of the absurdist humor and amazing ensemble casting. Hope the next decade has better R comedies than these.

Paul, though it probably would have been a little better with Edgar Wright instead of Greg Mottola at the helm. Tropic Thunder was a riotously good time, and Idiocracy was very funny too.

40 Year-old virgin

I can't argue with a lot of the top picks on this list, but for my money 40 year-old virgin is the best. It was the film that really launched the Apatow brand of comedy films, not to mention giving boosts to the careers of Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and Seth Rogen. So many quotable moments, and yet it still had a bit of heart to it.
