Probably The Rundown for me. Grossly underrated action flick. The Rock's first big feature, had Christopher Walkin as the villain, and was an all around great adventure. Also demonstrated The Rock's ability to be a movie star. Probably FnF 5 after that. He was a great addition to the film that made it that much more entertaining. Looking forward to him in the next FnF and Pain and Gain. Not sure about Snitch, looks like a bit of a stinker.

I thought I was alone in my madness for The Rundown, but I guess I was wrong. It's one of the few movies that I can just watch over and over. I mean, the one with them hanging upside down paralyzed and surrounded by mating monkeys never gets old. I can actually picture our two bungling protagonists go off on other crazy adventures together.

Wha?!

There has to be a fave?! I'll go with the future release where he does well and earns a lot of money!

I like him at Wrestlemania!

Honestly, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island or The Other Guys. I really do not like him as an actor, but I am looking forward to Snitch and GI JOE 2.

Hands down, The Rundown

Would love there to be a sequel to the Rundown. Still has one of the best openings for an action movie that I've ever seen. Lot's of room to explorer the characters past, if they ever do a new one. They can even bring back Seann Scott.

the rundown

a very underrated film. great characters, action, direction and it was funny on top of it all. fast five really isnt a Rock movie, but Rundown is him all the way. Walken and Scott helped quite a bit though. still, in an age of CGI-inflated action heroes, Rundown was a good old fashioned car flipping pyrotechnic party!

Walking Tall for me. If it's not for The Rock, the movie would even be more forgettable than it's already is. But with The Rock, he carried the role with such conviction you can't help but admiring him.

Gotta go with The Rundown, it's a fun movie & was his first true starring role. Also had a great supporting cast with Stifler, Walken & the always sexy Rosario Dawson. Some of my other favorite of his are Be Cool (sorry he stole that movie), Get Smart, The Other Guys(that roof jump scene always gets me) Fast Five & the very underappreciated Faster. He is good in supporting roles also & I am looking forward to both GI Joe & Fast Six.

THE RUNDOWN ALL THE WAY, BABY!!

I love The Rundown!! I actually just rewatched it the other day. I agree with Rukas, I wish he made more movies like this (rather than the kids stuff) but it looks like he's got some action movies on tap sooooo, maybe we'll get more movies like The Rundown and less like The Tooth Fairy!!

The Rundown (aka Welcome to the Jungle) is one of the most watched DVDs at my place. The gf and I love it. Great action comedy with a lot of heart. He should have made more films like that rather than the kids stuff. Hopefully he is back on track now.

With Snitch, G.I. Joe 2, Pain & Gain and Fast & Furious 6 all coming out in the next four months (not to mention no kiddie flicks in sight) I think its safe to say he's back on track!

Walking Tall got the vote. It must be good. I keep watching it everytime that it is on TV. Faster is one of the Rock's best, and it sits in my DVD collection. Gridiron Gang is worth watching. Like Faster, Johnson gets to show-off his acting skills in a dramatic story. Get Smart is an okay movie, and Johnson is good in it. I hope that the Rock gets to do Shazam! at some point.

Yes, totally forgot about Walking Tall, which really surprised me, didn't feel like a remake at all.

Faster...

is his best followed by Fast Five and The Rundown (i can see most of us agree). Hell, I'll even admit I enjoyed Scorpion King and Doom as guilty pleasures, both sub-par movies no doubt but 'The Rock' makes them worth it, especially in the latter as he hams it up to such degrees you can't help but be entertained. Very happy he got out of that kiddie movie slump and back at what he's good at.

I've always found him to be very watchable no matter the genre. Guess cause I have kids too all the while going through a mid-life crisis of my 80's youth and the glory days of Arnold, Bruce, and Sly...and to your lesser degrees, the Van Damme's and Segal's, but in no particular order my top 3 would be

1. Faster
2. Fast Five
3. The Rundown...

Out of all the greenlit sequels, why don't we get a sequel to The Rundown?

Faster

I don't enjoy all of his movies, but he does have a few good ones. Faster is my favorite film of his because I feel it was a really good quality straight up action film where he really showed his dramatic and action chops.
