both movies look bad. ITs hard to take horror movies seriously anymore. Almost every monster, ghost, zombie, vampire, etc look and act the same. What is worse, is that having sequels that we dont need.

Civil War ghosts?

I voted for Ghosts of Georgia, but I will gladly switch my vote .... AND watch it in the theater .... twice. If they make the tagline "The Confederacy awakens for revenge" or a "Connecticut Yankee in Hell's Court" ... wait "Secession will not stop the Possession"

Haunting is the clear choice. At least the developers of Last Exorcism and back into a corner and say, "It was a planned series. It's just broken into PARTS."

The Connecticut one. Not only geographically confusing, but cumbersome as well. Can't wait for "The Haunting in Connecticut 3: French Painters of the Post-Impressionist Era"

I was going to choose Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia but realized that The Last Exorcism: Part 2 is a complete paradox in itself and gave it the vote for sheer stupidity.

Not really, because The Last Exorcism could be considered the story, the complete whole, while the sequel is simply the second part of that story. It's like chapters within a book. Therefore, the use of "part" actually negates the contradiction, because it represents a piece of the larger puzzle, not a second picture.

Well if your going to get technical, in order for the first and second to count as 'parts' the first installment needs to be followed by a 'Part 1' but it wasn't. Meaning there was no greater vision for this series, they made some cash from the first installment and decided to make a sequel regardless of the title, shoehorning 'Part' might make it slightly less contradictory but definitely not less moronic.

The Last Exorcism: Part 2 makes more sense then The Last Exorcism 2, because the first suggests that this movie is a part of a whole (the next chapter to "The Last Exorcism) while the latter implies that there is a second "Last Exorcism." Same with your example of "The Never Ending Story Part 2." It is another part to a long story. Therefore, there is really nothing wrong with using "part 2" in this context. The Hangover: Part 2, on the other hand, doesn't make sense, because that movie

The Hangover: Part 2, on the other hand, doesn't make sense, because that movie simply repeats the first part, which makes the title almost pretentious, and at the very least unnecessary. Just call that The Hangover 2.

Definitely Haunting in Connecticut 2: The Ghosts of Georgia considering they could have just called it the Haunting in Georgia.
