Yeah this month does suck, Don Jon would be the only one I'm really interested in.

September and January are tied for the two worst movie months. Having said that, September actually looks pretty good this year. Rush, Riddick, and Don Jon all look like fun. I voted for Rush, it looks awesome.

Hell Baby!

'A single Shot' is a good movie for a rainy day. I'd suggest waiting for it on Redbox, but it's worth a watch. I'm not at all hyped for any of the movies coming out in September, but I do have a weakness for Riddick. Can't say I'll watch it in the theater though till I read some reviews.

I already saw A Single Shot, and it is a really good movie. Sam Rockwell plays a different character than usual and it's spot on. It's kind of a slow burn but you're uneasy the whole time until some brutal stuff happens. Def a must see.

DON JON, followed closely by RUSH

I'm willing to give CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 a shot, even though it doesn't have the original directors or Mr. T, but I'll wait for the reviews on that one first. I have to chuckle: I wonder if METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER is their way of saying, "Please forget about SOME KIND OF MONSTER!!!!"

Rush (the trailers look pretty good and Ron Howard knows his way around a biopic) - but I was always under the impression that it was being released closer to Christmastime. Riddick's pretty good.

Insidious 2 followed by Riddick. Already saw A Single Shot. Disappointing, thought it would have been better than that from the synopsis.

Also really looking forward to Thanks For Sharing, Rush, A Single Shot, Don Jon, and Insidious 2.

This month looks really week.

I chose Rush, just because Howard is hit or miss, but I feel like this could be a hit for him. Also, it's kinda cool seeing Thor branch out into some other roles. I'm actually more interested in Don Jon, but I thought it would be a limited release, which normally means it won't get played in any theaters near me. I'm on the fence with Riddick. Probably will rate to rent that unless the reviews are good.

Don Jon

Cannot WAIT for Don Jon - looks amazing - but I have already seen Thanks for Sharing and it was one of my favorite films of last year. Really hoping it gets the kind of exposure it deserves because it could catch fire and be a major contender for certain Oscar categories a la The Kids Are All Right. FANTASTIC film.

Riddick? Really

it looks exactly like "Pitch Black", dont get me wrong, i liked Pitch Black and this one looks ok, but it's the same thing, it looks like mindless sci-fi action. I wouldnt mind seeing it but i'm not that excited for it.

Don Jon is probably the only movie i'm excited for this month. It looks to be another romantic comedy form the point of view of the guy, which is a rare treat when done well. The last time was Gordon-Levitt's own "(500) Days of Summer".

"Rush" and "Runner Runner" both

"Rush" and "Runner Runner" both look good, everything else i either havn't heard of or dont care. September is always a dumping ground for Hollywood.

Don Jon

I am ready for Levitt to continue to show us how much of an amazing performer/contributor he is to Hollywood.

Riddick...

The Chronicles of Riddick was one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life, just terrible. Its still amazing that there is need and want to watch this crap again...unless it returns to the same formula that worked for Pitch Black I will never see Riddick .

I hear ya, Chronicles was bad, I walked out it was so bad and usually out of anger I force myself to sit there and try to get my $ worth one way or another. Chronicles was horrible.

This movie looks like a "re-imagining" of Pitch Black which doesn't excite me. I will see it on video or the cheap theater. Many sequels were basically remakes of the original though and some people seem to like them. X-Men 2 for example was the same plot as the first X-Men and frankly a crappy film. The

The changes were minor - the bad guys were turning every mutant human instead of every human into a mutant. Snooze.

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem but these polls never work for me when using the mobile site on my phone. Just FYI.

just watched insidious again after a couple years and enjoyed it- though it's not as good as the conjuring. chapter 2 looks pretty good. hate to break it to ya'll, but 'hell baby' really sucks, despite the people involved. :(

Don Jon, Prisoners, and Rush are my three most anticipated of the month. Prisoners for the acting powerhouse that has been on display in the trailers, and Rush just because, while I'm not well-versed in my Formula One racing history, it just looks like a damn good movie in the classic tradition.
