Fantasia! One of Walt's most beloved films!

Believe it or not Fantasia is a brilliant and breathtaking breakthrough into the possible achievements with animation.
The Lion King is good, the score by Hans Zimmer is still breathtaking. But seeing it again last year in it's re-released, I found it to not hold up over time.

My fave Disney movie is an EXTREMELY underrated movie called Dinosaur. It came out in the summer of 2000 and was quickly forgotten (Why?). I know the story was a little weak and the movie is super short (83 minutes) but it has some incredible sound effects and the voice actors are spot on. Dinosaur should've gotten more love.

Why the heck is Sword In The Stone not listed?

I get that you can only list so many options, but that seems like a much more obvious one than some of the other choices you listed.

Fantasia All Day

I really wish Disney would revive the idea of doing more Fantasia films. As every year goes by, Disney/Pixar is getting more and more exposure for their shorts and I think if they took the risk of making a big deal of something different from the norm it would help usher in a much better (and deserved) appreciation for animation that isn't just done by the books. It would only beneficial for Disney to help encourage a broader scope of style so that when audiences have a more diverse taste the

So many greats

But I went with my personal favorite underrated one - Hercules. Great villain, one of the best love interests in ANY movie (let alone an animated one), and the whole movie is basically the best Superman movie that isn't a Superman movie. Hell, I'd argue it's better than any actual Superman movie. Vastly underrated, but I love it.

I loved The Emperor's New Groove because I think it was the most unique Disney movie where there is no actual damsel in distress to speak of and everything was just pure fun.
I also think that Brother Bear deserve more credit and presence in the list. It was not that great, and it got eclipsed by Brave which carried a lot of the same story elements, but it was far from terrible.

Pinocchio is my fave followed, very, very closely (a frog hair split eight ways close) by Aladdin.

Probably The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's gorgeously animated and adapting Victor Hugo is no mean feat and the scholars may baulk but I think it was done very well. The music is some of the best in any Disney animated film, Alan Menken taking inspiration from Latin chanting and religious music and Stephen Schwartz writing some of the finest lyrics in his career. "From the big bells loud as the thunder, to the little bells soft as a Psalm, some say the soul of the city's the toll of the bells,

Tony Jay's Frollo was chilling and "Hellfire" is, hands down, the best villain song in any Disney film.

No question

Sleepy Hollow. I am a huge Halloween nut, always have been, but as a kid I contracted mono and was bed ridden for a long stretch. We had the Disney Channel, and they would play The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad all the time. I looked forward to it every time it was on. I loved The Wind In The Willows too, but nothing beat Bing Crosby narrating the Legend Of Sleepy Hollow

Beauty and the Beast

It was the first movie I saw in cinema, so it will always be special. The Lion King comes in a very close second.
And I am really happy that we got so many new wothy Disney movies in the last years with Tangled, Princess and the Frog and Frozen.
