I think Arrow is the best show on TV, so I'd love Joblo to review that. Another show that I'd love to see reviewed is Almost Human. That show is underrated and brilliant.

HELIX

Anyone watching Helix? It's got elements of The Thing and a dash of Zombies. One of my favorite shows right now. Banshee's a fucking sick show too. Highly recommend.

Only shows I care about now that Eastbound and Down is done are Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Mr. D, and as far as not comedy I usually wait for the season to finish then watch the entire season in a small period of time. I like The Mentalist, cool show. Oh and Supernatural, I'm a fan of that show.

Is there enough interest for this? I normally don't watch the shows as they air, so I don't read the reviews to avoid spoilers, and I was under the impression a lot of people do the same.
On a side note, is Arrow really that good? All I know about the character is what I saw on Smallville, and that was enough for me (he never seemed like an interesting character to me). Maybe I'm missing out, but I don't know anyone who watches the show.

As a huge DC Comics fan, let me just say that Smallville was horrible. That was a cheesy tweenfest. Arrow is nothing like it. Guessing you didn't see this trailer when it was posted a couple days ago. There is a reason fans really want it to connect to the films......hopefully Flash will be just as good.

American Horror Story

While I don't need a weekly reminder of how awesome House of Cards is (same goes for Hannibal), reviewing the messy hit or miss affair that is American Horror Story should be much more fun. Arrow would also be cool. It is a well made superhero show that still has some potential to grow even better (right now I would rate most episodes between 7-8/10). Especially since I never read the comics I would welcome additional info about the source material on new side characters and story events

Something that should be right up your alley.

Arrow is reviewed well, each week, by IGN.

I chose "House Of Cards" only because I really enjoy it. ARROW is reviewed each week on IGN and the person does a great job reviewing it. So if you voted for ARROW first check out IGN for it.

especially considering the next season of each show is the final season!
Black Sails would be cool too, it's pretty cinematic and hey... pirates!

I picked Arrow but...

Should also cover Penny Dreadful and The Strain over on Arrow in the Head. Also show Community some love, it has returned to form now that Dan Harmon is back running things. And if anyone says Girls, then you are on the wrong site and should never come back here

Definitely Arrow! This season has been fantastic!! Plus next season Flash starts!

You should do a binge watch review of the 1st & 2nd seasons before doing weekly for Season 3.

And what if you review bad shows? I mean, you review both good and bad movies. I'd say TWO AND A HALF MEN is something so easy to tear apart at this point.

Hannibal. Kinda bummed that this didn't even show up on your list, as I thought it would've been a no-brainer. Although it is a NBC show, everything about it is miles beyond your usual network TV show (the cinematography, acting, even violence, etc.)

Arrow in the Head reviewed the first season but there was little to no interaction, likes, shares, etc. so it kind of petered out. Perhaps if it gains more steam through season 2...

That's a shame that it gets overlooked even by the AITH crowd. But I would imagine AITH has an even narrower viewer-base (which I don't mean as a knock on the site). So maybe things maybe a bit more different on the main site ; )?

Orphan Black, Strike Back

Orphan Black is one of the most compelling shows on television and Tatiana Maslany is an amazing actress. It's fun to watch her play wildly diverse characters without a hitch. The story line is interesting and convoluted but never loses the viewer.
Strike Back is the best action show that I've seen in ages. The actors are believable in combat scenes, the women are very capable and hot, plus the story arc keeps flowing at a rapid pace.

Honestly I don't care I don't follow TV shows as they air, BUT I do think this is the appropriate time and place to suggest you guys do all your TV stuff under a separate division, like arrow & movie hotties.

IGN does great justice to reviewing ARROW each week. If you have been there then there is no point typing this :) but yeah if not go. IGN covers ARROW well and I am very much pleased with what is written and agree, a lot of times, with the person.

Orphan black!

Okay so far orphan black isn't anywhere close near the top voted at the moment - that's the show to start reviewing because it's only on its second season and it's one hell of a show. If joblo started reviewing it, more people would know about it - if you've seen the show you'd know that would only be a good thing.

Good Poll

Definitely Arrow. And Community as well. I would love to see a sitcom review on this site and what better than Community?
You can split the tv reviews with Penny Dreadful over on AITH. That could work, right?

In fact at this stage perhaps you should do a TV section on the site?

Season reviews

Walking Dead, Madmen, and Doctor who are the only shows on this list i tend to watch weekly anymore. Most shows i wait until the season is over and binge watch on some random Sunday. I think picking and choosing which shows to review, trying to please as many people as you can, things would get muddled and repetitive. I suggest you guys either set up a sister site for tv, or just review the season after the finale. I'd be more interested in reading your opinion to a collective group of episodes

I'd be more interested in reading your opinion to a collective group of episodes with a story arch and character developments, than just comparing each episode to one and other. Thats the real difference between tv and movies, tv can take the time to spread the story out and slow down. Each episode has a specific task and can really be appreciated when seen as part of the bigger picture.

(for the record, i voted for "House of Cards")

Pretty much the only comparison they make to other episodes is the 1-10 rating, otherwise they mostly just give a pretty damn good in-depth analysis. I'm curious how them asking which shows we would prefer they do this earned them a red rating. And a season review would rob us of pretty much the entire point, to review and talk about each episode, whomever it is doing the review usually goes through it with a fine comb, good stuff.

Sons of Anarchy, justified, Penny Dreadful, Boardwalk Empire, Banshee, and Game of Thrones to name a few. You guys do great work, I look forward to your tv show reviews of the good ones, especially True Detective at the moment. Not only do I like your insights, but I like the Strikebacks as well, I've said it before and I have no shame saying it again, this is easily and by far my favorite movie website!

Banshee. Good suggestion! Love that show. Very pulp with all its glorious violence, crime and sex. And next to Hannibal the most gorgeously filmed TV Show on the market. The photography of this show is absolutely outstanding. Really cinematic style almost on par with the asthetics of Refn's Drive. I will be damned if S02E05 will be overlooked for an Emmy in that department.
