As a certain type of comicbook movie, I'd say Avengers is still top of the pile, but as a movie watching experience I'd probably take Iron Man or maybe even Blade over it. Avengers is what it is, a massive budget ensemble piece with the whole world in peril. That's one type of movie. It's fine for what it is. Having only seen Winter Soldier once so far I can't say definitively, but I just really enjoyed Iron Man. Origin stories are perhaps easier sells, but I just prefer that movie, and at the

I can't belive Rise of the Silver Surfer got more votes than X-Men 1 or others. Sure, Silver Surfer was cool, but it is the shortest superhero movie on the list (barely 80 minutes) with paper thin characters....

My favorite done by Marvel would be Winter Soldier, by a different studio I would pick The Wolverine. The Avengers, Blade II and The Incredible Hulk are pretty high on my list too.

I knew my vote wouldnt be one of the favourites but I wanted to give it the recognition it deserved (The Incredible Hulk) Only to find out that the Fantastic four movie was in third place beating out some other great movies. I have lost faith. HULK SMASH

I only voted to see how much Avengers was winning by.
The first Captain America was a better superhero film than Winter Soldier.
And Fantastic Four: Silver Surfer at third?
Whats wrong with these voters.

Probably a tie between X2 and Iron Man. X2 juggled its multiple plot threads very well and offered up truly sympathetic, compelling and interesting characters like Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler, in addition to some impressive action set pieces. If Iron Man didn't work out as well as it did, we probably wouldn't have The Avengers, so credit's due to Jon Favreau, RDJ, Kevin Feige and everyone else who took that first step into the MCU. Honorable mentions go to Spider-Man 2, Captain America The

Captain Amerca: Winter soldier

For me, it was even better than the avengers. From the great story and acting to the AMAZING action, this one surprised me big time.

The Avengers, of course.

Beyond that, I'm also a big fan of Spider-Man, X2, Blade, and The Wolverine.

Blade

My favorites are Blade and Blade II. Without the wacky humor, violent, bad-ass and quite revolutionary, especially part 1.
Then I'd go with Iron Man and X-Men: First Class

Still think X2 and Spidey 2 are the best pieces of Hollywood cinema relating to comic books I've ever seen.

Can't really see past Avengers.

But I did enjoy the X-Men movies and I have a lot of love for Thor.

The Avengers

Have to go with The Avengers because in my opinion it is the pinnacle of the Marvel films.

To round out the top five, I would have Captain America: Winter Soldier, Spider-Man 2, Iron Man, and Captain America: The First Avenger.

The Avengers

Marvel has put out some good ones but "The Avengers" is the one I return to the most and just find great in all aspects, can't wait for the follow up! X2 would be a strong second choice.

X2

It's a close call between X2 and Spider-man 2 for me, but I went with X2. Both those films had the right amount of action, heart, comedy, and character development. Honorable mentions go to Spider-man. Iron Man, and Avengers.
