New Blade banners!

OK so BLADE: TRINITY is coming out this December. I'm optimistic and I'll tell you why - Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds. I never thought I'd say that but everything I've seen seems to indicate these two steal the show from the title character and it's no surprise New Line was thinking SPINOFF!! before the movie even began filming. I guess it's just the idea of having something fresh and new whereas Blade, as a character, just seems kinda stale. That said, I think adding the two supporting characters, the Nightstalkers, was a stroke of genius by writer/director David Goyer to help but not everyone saw it that way. Wesley Snipes wrote a 5-page letter of complaint to New Line co-chairman Bob Shaye complaining about his treatment on the film and saying he was being shunned for two younger co-stars. The letter was quoted as saying, "As I recall, the movies are titled BLADE and Wesley Snipes is the actor/artist that brought the comic book character to life." I hate to break the news to Wesley but I'm just as excited to see what Ryan Reynolds brings to this film. All this to say we've got ourselves an exclusive first look-see at the character banners for BLADE: TRINITY below. I dig em and it evokes the MATRIX RELOADED teaser posters I adored so much. BLADE: TRINITY opens December 10th and expect more coverage right here on JoBlo.com as that date approaches.
