Kingsmen: Or How I Learned To Lose More Interest Which Each New Trailer Instead of Loving The Film

I was interested in Kingsmen until all the trailers. I'm not interested in seeing a bunch of Abercrombie models running around save the world from Samuel L Jackson. I'd rather pay to see Colin Firth as a the main spy and not as some recruiter to abandoned pretty boys.

KINGSMEN

who are those 27 people that are waiting for spongebob Squarepants? they must be Eliminated
i'd also go for Seventh Son faster than I would Jupiter Ascending but I'll probably see both.

Whats wrong with Spongebob ? Alot of people liked that show as kids so of course a movie would interest people.

If Kingsman had not been on here, I would have chosen nothing.

To be honest, I've already seen the movie I was most interested in, Kingsman, and it was fantastic. I can't understand why it got dumped in February when it's such a summer blockbuster film. I'll be seeing Jupiter Ascending tomorrow, and that's my second most anticipated. Some of those I don't know anything about, so I'll have to look them up.

Problem with Kingsman being released in the summer, is it would get lost in the shuffle with all the other blockbusters. At least in February it has a chance as good counter-programming for men 18-40 while the families are at Spongebob and the ladies are at 50 Shades. Believe me, I want Kingsman to be a huge success, look forward to it trouncing 50 Shades.

Kingsman

Realistically, this is the only movie I am really going to try to see in theaters, although Jupiter Ascending looks good, and I've heard good things about What We Do In the Shadows and '71 (neither of which are guaranteed a release where I am). I'm also interested in Focus, but more as a curiosity, since con movies can land pretty much anywhere on the scale from great to terrible.

KINGSMAN: SECRET SERVICE for sure

My wife has already said she wants to see it on Valentine's Day. I want JUPITER ASCENDING to do well, but I keep on snickering every time I hear the "I like dogs" line in the trailer.

I've already seen WILD TALES (7/10). The one I want to see the most is...

... THE LAST 5 YEARS. Although the musical genre made a comeback in 2001, most of them have been period pieces or modern-day jukeboxes. This will feel like a change of pace. Plus, it stars Jeremy Jordan (he got trashed for SMASH, but I think the way the character was written was to blame) and Anna Kendrick. As for the rest:

-JUPITER ASCENDING: I don't know what happened to the Wachowskis, but they've lost their touch. The only well-reviewed movie they've directed since MATRIX was CLOUD

-JUPITER ASCENDING: I don't know what happened to the Wachowskis, but they've lost their touch. The only well-reviewed movie they've directed since MATRIX was CLOUD ATLAS, but they had a co-director there. That and the delayed release date are enough for me to skip it. I hope that Oscar curse isn't true and Eddie Redmayne won't lost just because of this movie (like it happened to Eddie Murphy).
-SPONGEBOB 2: The show is my all-time favorite cartoon, but the trailer indicates that this movie has nothing of what makes the show good.
-50 SHADES OF GREY: Honestly, the trailer looked kinda sexy. At worst, it looks like a forgettable SECRETARY rip-off. I think the film's over-hype as the worst movie ever will work in its favour and will get only average reviews.
-HOT TUB TIME MACHINE 2: Can sequels to raunchy comedies work? Sure, but there's not a lot of evidence.
-FOCUS: It's from the guys behind CRAZY STUPID LOVE. That's all I need to know.
-THE DUFF: Why has it taken this long for Mae Whitman to have a (live-action) lead role? She deserves an opportunity, even if the movie ends up sucking.
-WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS: The premise and the fact that it's based on a short film suggest that this is a 1-joke movie. I'll still give it a shot, though.

Kingsman

That and Jupiter Ascending are the only movies i really wanna see (i hope Jupiter is at least fun)

Spongebob and Hot Tub Time Machine i kinda wanna see, but i'll wait for Netflix or Redbox

I already saw '71, it was pretty good for an indie war/crime film. Its most notable for being a launching pad for Jack O'Connell who is sure to do great things in the near future

The Salvation

Not a strong month at all. Very slow. The Salvation would be the only one I'd be happy spending money on.
