Exorcist: The Beginning - March 1

Hearing that Paul Schrader was helming The Exorcist, I was ecstatic about it. Taxi Driver, Touch, Auto Focus, Raging Bull - Paul Schrader, if anything, knows the how dark the underbelly of humanity can get. So I was bummed out that Cutthroat Island director Renny Harlin pulled a mutiny (like that transition? me either) on the ship of The Exorcist and turned it into shite.

"Fine, I admit it, I have no idea where the f*ck we are!"

I Heart Huckabees - March 1

I heart Naomi Watts. I heart the whole friggin' cast of I Heart Huckabees. But they're not all as charming and cute as Naomi Watts. A double disc first DVD release of this? Suh-weet!

She may look like a cardboard cut out, but inside she's all lady.

Incident at Lochness - March 1

The real shit or a clever hoax? Doesn't matter, Werner Herzog is involved and that's all you need to know. The Loch Ness Monster is like that urban legend of that girl around your neighborhood who had three boobs and would copulate with you for only three bucks. Too good to be true, yet you can't keep yourself from looking for it. Or am I thinking of Total Recall?

  • Director/Writer and Lead Joke Commentary by Zak Penn and Werner Herzog
  • Director/Writer and Lead Serious Commentary by Zak Penn and Werner Herzog
  • Director/Writer and Commentary by Zak Penn and friends
  • Outtakes
  • Deleted scenes
  • 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen

The Loch Ness Monster? Nope, just someone fartin' around with an old sock puppet.

Wonder Woman (S2) - March 1

For no other reason than to include a shot of Lynda Carter in full Wonder Woman gear, the specs for the complete second season include a feature called Revolutionizing a Classic: From Comic Book to Television, a documentary that discusses adapting the comic book to screen including illustrations and interviews with Lynda Carter, Douglas Cramer, Phil Jimenez and more.

The Ultimate Matrix Collection: Ultimate indeed. Plenty of additional footage and extras to make you forget how bad Reloaded was. Hopefully. 12/7

Dodgeball: Ben Stiller....so five years ago. Boycott Ben. 12/7

Wild Heart (SE): David Lynch has never made a bad movie and he can even make an actor out of Nicolas Cage. Aces! 12/7

24 (S3): Never has a full 24 hour day lasted so looong. Great show, though. 12/7

"I, like, saved Zion from destruction. How about a tip?"
