6 Almost Humans

Bloody Disgusting got some sweet info. on a couple of upcoming projects from Almost Human, those special effects make-up wizards!



First up, they’re the masterminds behind the make-up effects of Mindfire Entertainment’s ROOM 6, starring Mr. Voorhees himself Kane Hodder (pictured here sporting a different look). The flick’s about a woman who’s life takes a horrible turn of events when her fiancé gets killed in a car accident. She then tracks down a mysterious hospital with the help of a fellow victim…. a hospital housing their deceased loved ones… a hospital that shouldn’t exist.


All I know is that Kane Hodder’s in it, and these make-up effects are pretty frickin’ sweet, so count me in! Premise sounds like it could be a trip fest, meaning an evening of fun with a bottle of Jack and an entire packet of Peeps!



Sticking with the ‘6’ and ‘tripping’ theme, Almost Human are also teaming up with director Robert Hall (LIGHTNING BUG) for the fright flick 6 RECORDS, about a washed up singer who takes a trip through his past trying to find redemption through hidden messages intertwined in his record albums.


Better make this a double feature with ROOM 6, but add a bottle of Jose and a tiny hit of acid! That way you might end up exactly where these characters are going to be- and experience the ultimate movie mind-trip!

Written by Ashley Laurence (HELLRAISER, LIGHTNING BUG) who usually sticks to acting, or her artistic talents, the flick is scheduled to start filming this fall. No casting decisions yet, but it’s still early in the process.
