The Latest Announcements

Hitch - June 14

No official specs have been released for Will Smith's new "comedy" but you can expect shtuff like behind the scenes featurettes, deleted scenes and probably some other nonsense like the film's trailer (which has most of the funny scenes in it) and a photo gallery. Unless it's a photo gallery featuring a bikini clad Eva Mendes and a snorkel, I'm not at all interested.

Eva Mendes: loving the idea of a bikini clad photo gallery

Stripes (SE) - June 7

If you kids can stand watching an old school comedy like Stripes, you're in for a helluva surprise. The comedic talent from Bill Murray to John Candy and Harold Ramis will have you doubled over in laughter, like the first time I saw it. Or maybe that's my ulcer. Who knows. This new special edition, which is actually an extended edition has eighteen extra minutes tagged to it, a commentary from the director and writer/producer, and includes deleted scenes and an hour long documentary with all new interviews with cast and crew and the man himself, Bill Murray. Go Cubs!

Elektra: Jennifer Garner is beginning to grow on me. It must be the dimples. 4/5

Mischief: One of the only movies you can see Kelly Preston's fun bags, before Travolta put his greasy, Scientologist hands all over them. 4/5

Ocean's 12: How about P. Diddy's moronic comments about making a black Oceans' 11? If I were Bernie Mac, Don Cheadle or Sammy Davis Jr., I'd be offended. If I were Sammy Davis Jr., I'd have more important things to worry about. 4/12
