Juggernaut in X3?

Multiple internet sources are reporting this morning that bad-ass Vinnie Jones, who starred in SNATCH and LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS for X3 director Matthew Vaughn, is in talks to star in the third X-MEN movie as none other than...The Juggernaut! Ain't It Cool News first reported yesterday that Jones was spied in the X3 production offices talking to director Vaughn. But because Jones and Vaughn are friends and former co-workers the details of the visit weren't known (business or just visiting?). But FilmForce reported late yesterday that Jones was in fact talking with Vaughn about starring in X3 as one of the villains. AICN then checked back in and was able to confirm that villain was in fact Juggernaut! There had been many rumors so far as to what characters might be starring in the film but this is the first we've heard Juggernaut's name being tossed into the mix. For those not into the lore, Juggernaut is actually the stepbrother of Patrick Stewart's Professor X and was granted superhuman strength and other abilities (the ability to craft a force field protecting himself) through a magic ruby he found in a temple. Juggernaut is perhaps best known for being an "unstoppable" force. While he can certainly be slowed by mountains or bombs or cannons, it is said that only he can stop himself. Already confirmed for the film is Famke Janssen returning to star as the villainous Phoenix, the reincarnation of the late Jean Grey. Stay tuned for more as this story develops...
