Depp and Reeves DVD news

There aren't too many interesting Johnny Depp-related updates that we're gonna skip on this site (or Salma Hayek ones, of course), but Friday's announcement of a "Director's Cut" of John Waters' CRY-BABY come July 12th, was a pretty good one at that. Thanks to DVDAnswers for both the cover and the specs (click pics to enlarge). "The film will run to 1 hour 32 minutes (around seven minutes longer than the theatrical version), and will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen along with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track." No word on any extras just yet. Thanks to 'johnnylubber' for the head's up.

The dvd cover for Keanu Reeves' CONSTANTINE was also announced the other day, and I gotta say that I quite like it. Very cool. The dvd is apparently set for release either in June or July (no specific date announced yet), in both widescreen and full screen versions. Both versions will include an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track along with eighteen minutes of deleted scenes (including an alternate ending), the film's theatrical trailer and some exclusive DVD-ROM content. I wonder if they're gonna include the infamous "tit shot" from Rachel Weisz? Or the infamous "dick shot" from Keanu Reeves? Straight up, folks...I have no idea what I'm babbling about at this point. Thanks to DVDAnswers for the official head's up though.
