The Latest Announcements

Miss Congeniality 2 - June 21

It's probably safe to say that with minimal extras such as deleted scenes and a theatrical trailer, a special super-duper deluxe edition (or possibly a double pack with the first movie) will be right around the corner. If you're at all thinking about picking this little darling up, you best hold off, just in case.

What I wouldn't give to be that "perp" under Bullock's knee.

Roswell (S3) - August 9

Seems like everyone and their baby's daddy has sent me an email about when the final season of Roswell was going to make it to DVD. Breaks my heart to tell you peeps that I don't know. Well, now I do know, and so do you. The five disc box set will have all 18 episodes including some episode commentaries, featurettes "Class of 2002" and "Shiri Appleby's DVD Tour to Japan" and some song selections. It'll be presented in 1.78: Widescreen and English Dolby 5.1 audio. Looks like they hooked you Roswell fans up with that.

Star Trek: Enterprise (S2) - August 2

Well you can say this for the Star Trek DVDs: They put out some cool as shit DVD sets. Take a look below and wonder why you never got into Enterprise in the first place.

  • Audio and text commentary on select episodes by Michael Sussman, Phyllis Strong and Michael & Denise Okuda
  • 5 Featurettes: Enterprise Moments: Season Two, Enterprise Profile: Jolene Blalock, LeVar Burton – Star Trek Director, Enterprise Secrets, Inside A Night in Sickbay
  • Outtakes
  • Easter Eggs
  • Deleted Scenes

  • On the main menu go to the "Chapter" selection. Once there, highlight chapter 15 and press the Left arrow key which will highlight the bottle of wine. Press enter to see a series of behind the scenes photographs. I heart Virginia Madsen!

  • You can use your 'Title' button on your remote to go to Title #4 to see some bloopers and location shots. On Title #2 you can see a fake behind the scenes video on production "overrun". Looks like too much wine being drunk on that set.

12 Monkeys (SE): Out of the bunch of great movies he's done, this may be Brad Pitt's best performance. Yes, even better than Tyler Durden. 5/10

Assault on Precinct 13: Enough with the rappers trying to act. Especially Ja Rule. But not Xzibit. 5/10

American Chopper (S1): The Teutels are the funniest dudes on cable TV. Plus, they look like they can rip your arms off if you disagree. 5/10

Team America: World Police (Unrated): I'm telling you, you haven't lived until you've seen one puppet eat the butt of another puppet. Sessy! 5/17
