9 animated trailer

100%

In 2005 Shane Acker premiered his 10-minute animated short 9 at the Sundance Film Festival. That same year he and his short were nominated for an Academy Award. That kind of publicity brought him some impressive fans like directors Tim Burton and Timur Bekmembatov (WANTED). With their help, Acker was able to get a feature-length film based of 9 into production. The film, which will be released by Focus Features on 9-9-09, features the voices of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, John C. Reilly and Martin Landau. I will say no more other than to say you need to see this trailer (either below or at Apple's page in HD) and the original short film, which I've also included. Love live independent animated cinema!

Winner of...

... Oscar for best picture 2010. Not animated feature, best picture.

YES.

Welcome Home in the trailer is a brilliant choice (and a brilliant song), but the lack of diagetic sound unfortunately made the whole thing seem very fan-made...

meh

meh. i guess it looks ok im not really into the whole CGI thing anymore.... unless its completely offensive pornography. but i do have to say that the one thing that it has going for it is Jennifer Connelly. seriously i would do terrible things to be with her. oh and on another note does noone think she would be perfect for Wonder Woman?!
