A countdown has begun with new images from Alien: Covenant

The teaser for the Ridley Scott-produced BLADE RUNNER 2049 hit yesterday and completely won over fans of the original film with its visual aesthetic and use of the original theme. One can only hope ALIEN: COVENANT will be able to do the same, but in the meantime, we have some new images to go off of. The following were released by 20th Century Fox along with a set of numbers. What do you they mean? Take a look and see if you can figure it out!

So what do you make of the numbers? Granted, we only have two to go off of, but they appear to be counting down to something. Other fans have theorized that they equate to a date or coordinates or what have you, but I suppose we'll find out tomorrow if a third image and number set hits. In the meantime, I'll say this much: when the ALIEN: COVENANT teaser does hit, it'll have a lot to live up to if it wants to match the BLADE RUNNER 2049 teaser!
