Having recently faced off with some of Full Moon's tiny terrors in the films EVIL BONG 666 and PUPPET MASTER: AXIS TERMINATION (and having experienced THE AMITYVILLE TERROR a couple years back), actress Tonya Kay can now be seen taking on demonic forces in director Jonathan Zuck's WITHIN THE DARKNESS, which Indican Pictures has just released on VOD today.
Written by Zuck and Cheryl Compton, WITHIN THE DARKNESS tells the following story:
A down on their luck group of friends with aspirations of fame and fortune in the ghost hunting business stumble upon the real deal. Shooting footage for the TV series "The Paranormal Dimension, with Austin Barnett," Austin, Lucy, Jesse, and Bruce are not prepared for what awaits them in the Hewitt House. A long dead, evil spirit is more than happy to give them what they seek – the scare of a lifetime. Be careful what you wish for…
Kay's co-stars include David Coyne, Erin Cline, John C. Bailey, Cheyenne Phillips, and Shanna Forrestall.
WITHIN THE DARKNESS earned some awards while making the festival rounds, including a "Director's Choice" award at the Indie Horror Film Festival in Illinois and "Best Actor" (for Forrestall) and "Best Writing" awards at Shockfest.
