“1, 2 Freddy’s coming for you…”
It’s even sooner than you think. On April 30th, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET will debut to a new generation of audiences, as well as the ones who saw the original back in 1984.
I’m eager to see how this measures up. That also goes for the new take on one of the most iconic villains in horror, Freddy Krueger. Jackie Earle Hayley is giving less of a comedic performance for his Krueger. This will certainly be something different. I have grown so accustomed to Robert Englund’s humor that imaging Freddy any other way is sort of weird. But of course, I’m willing to give Hayley a shot.
The new motion poster for the film is simple and effective. It’s great, but it really, really makes me cringe. (Make sure your sound is on)
