Gareth Edwards' MONSTERS might be a film that's somehow snuck past you.

The low-budget big monster movie actually looks pretty good. I'm wondering what kind of creatures we will get to see. In this new poster, you can actually see a little something reflected off the gas mask. What the hell is it? Is it a SHARKTOPUS? Eh, probably not, but the poster is still awesome in my opinion.

I've provided the trailer at the bottom in case you were curious. You can catch it early from Video On Demand on the 24th and then when it releases on October 29th.

Extra Tidbit: When the SHARKTOPUS comes, we're all f*cked. That and the flying tigers.

Haven't seen enough that impresses me yet. Too similar to District 9.

Saw it at London Frighfest
It's amazing. It's an incredibly moving piece, it's more a drama/love story than sci fi/monster flick. Mindblowing actually when you consider its miniscule budget (reported around 10K which makes it sound cheap ass but the film doesn't look cheap at all)

The movie looks solid as far as I am concerned.
