AITH gets an early look at Jabberwocky

Jan. 19, 2011by: Mike Sampson

It's been a pretty good year for Lewis Carroll's Jabberwock. The fictional beast, who first appeared in Carroll's poem "Jabberwocky," has appeared in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, been referenced in possible Best Picture winner THE SOCIAL NETWORK and now he's got his own movie coming out.

Our boys at Arrow in the Head have a first look at the upcoming sci-fi adventure film JABBERWOCKY. The film stars Tahmoh Penikett and Kacey Barnfield as villagers in a medieval time who must rise up and defeat the beast known as the Jabberwock who's been unleashed on their kingdom. It was directed by Steven R. Monroe who cut his teeth on the recent remake of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE.

AITH has a bunch more info on the film including a gallery of stills and some behind-the-scenes shots from the production, which just wrapped in Bulgaria. Click the pic below to check it out...

Go watch Terry Gilliam's version instead

It's flawed but quirky and funny in places
