Are two Murdock's better than one?

According to The Official Dwight Schultz Fansite, the original actor who portrayed Captain 'Howling Mad' Murdock will make a cameo in the new A-TEAM film.

Here's what was said about it on the site: "We are pleased to inform you all that Dwight has actually already been working in Vancouver, where he has played a cameo role in The A-Team movie. Sharlto Copely, the South African actor who plays Murdock, is according to Dwight: 'brilliant beyond words'. Dwight has seen his screen test and he stated: that honestly, if Sharlto is given an opportunity to do what I saw in that test, "Murdock" will be better than ever!' Sharlto has been very kind to him on the set and Dwight must say that he has been treated very well."

This is cool news since I'm actually pretty excited to see this. It may not end up being the best film on the planet, but it's got fun written all over it.

After seeing Copely in DISTRICT 9, I think he's pretty damn brilliant as well. I hope to see him in many more films after A-TEAM. What will Schultz's tiny role consist of? Not sure. Maybe he's senior Murdock and being 'Howling Mad' is passed on within the men in their family...or not.

Extra Tidbit: Schultz co-hosted a program called "UFO's Tonite!". That's awesome. I'm sort of obsessed with aliens.

This will be cool, but who will he play? I only know him as his Murdock character. For me it would be like: cool he's in the movie but he's playing another character. It would be cooler to see him play Murdock.

Murdock was the stand out in the original A-Team, and his stint as Barclay on ST:TNG was literally stand out brilliant.

Glad to see he's on-board with the new guy, and isn't bitter and twisted like certain actors when it comes to recasting *cough*Shatner*cough*

even as kid when i saw the a team on tv i knew it was far fetched. all their elaborate plans and efforts to save the day eventually came down to the last 10 minutes of the show where they pimp out a truck/van into a vehicle of death and kick ass with lots of bullets and dynamite. problem solved!(and 50 previous minutes wasted!) maybe the movie will fair better...

A-Team was a guilty pleasure
This will be one of those movies I'll go see, and feel guilty about it for a few seconds. Kind of like eating a box full of chocolate almonds.

@Extra Tidbit: Don't forget Schultz' run as Barclay on Star Trek: TNG.
