You didn't think we'd forget about SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE, did you? Filming for Syfy's sequel to SHARKNADO starts this week, and recently the cast was announced. Tara Reid and Ian Zierling will be back from the original television movie (as April and Fin, respectively) and joining them will be Vivica A. Fox, Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Judah Friedlander and Judd Hirsch.

So what are the roles for the new cast members? Vivica A. Fox will star as Skye (an old high school friend of Fin's), Mark McGrath will play Fin's brother-in-law, Kelly Osbourne will be a flight attendant, Andy Dick will play a police officer, Judd Hirsch will (of course) be featured as a taxi driver, and Judah Friedlander will be Brian. No word on who "Brian" is or what part he will play in SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE.

The first movie delivered solid ratings for Syfy, and people couldn't stop talking about the ridiculous movie on Twitter and other social media sites. Will lightening strike twice for Syfy? We'll find out when SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE airs on Syfy sometime in July.

Extra Tidbit: How excited are you for SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE?

I love bad movies! Intentional and unintentional (though the latter ones tend to be more fun.)

I was a little underwhelmed by Sharknado. There's a few great bits in it but had some difficulties with some stuff like the sharks at the house. The house got flooded but step outside and ... dry. Yeah I know. Nitpicking a bad movie but really, put a little effort into this.

I recently saw Big Ass Spider! and thought it was superior. It was pretty creepy during the first 20-30 minutes when the

I recently saw Big Ass Spider! and thought it was superior. It was pretty creepy during the first 20-30 minutes when the spider was the size of a cat and dog. When it got much bigger than that things got fun goofy. :-)

Andy Dick?

That's it. They're setting the grounds for another Police Academy movie.

I think one Sharknado is enough. They should just make another movie that is similar to this, say, "Piranhaphoon" or "Raccoon Rainfall" or something.
