Another Mist trailer

10.19.2007
THE MIST, it is nearly upon us! While the smoky spooker will miss Halloween, the critter-filled flick is slowly rolling in to interrupt your Thanksgiving turkey with some tentacles. Delicious!

A second trailer for Frank Darabont's adaptation of Stephen King's story has arrived, and it's not too different from the original (especially since it also shows too much).

Extra Tidbit: This makes the second movie this year where Andre Braugher plays kind of a dick.

what happened to

prosthetic effects? cost a little more (sometimes less) and look waaaaay better, as we all know. yeah, i'm not saying much more than anybody else has said, but the indians are losing so i have nothing better to do. i'm thinking the mist looks a bit plastic. bleh.

OK, trailer shows too much

Shame also about the dodgy CGI effects- but - according to every review I've read so far, the film delivers in spades. So yes I still have my hopes pinned on this one.

we'll see (what's in The Mist)

I agree that the trailer showed too much. I've read the novella (and liked it a lot), but it would be more fun to leave any reveals of the creatures to the movie's release, and keep more mystery to the actual storyline. This almost felt like I saw the whole movie already. Hate those kinds of trailers.
Also, I feel that these monsters will be a little too CGI for my tastes. Bummer.
