Ant-Man & The Wasp on set pic teases Ant-Man new duds

Evangeline Lilly’s The Wasp isn’t the only ANT-MAN 2 character getting some new threads. Our favorite neighborhood Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) will be getting some new duds in the upcoming sequel too, and courtesy of an on-set photo we now have a better look at how fashionable he will be.

The following photo was taken of Rudd’s stuntman on the set of the flick in Atlanta, and though it’s not the complete get-up you will notice how the upper body portion looks a bit sleeker than we’ve seen in other appearances of the character (ANT-MAN & CIVIL WAR)

This comes after last week’s reveal of Lilly in her full Wasp suit, and given how deep they are into filming we could see Rudd in a full suit soon. Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym has probably been impressed with how far Rudd's Scott Lang has come since donning the suit, and the genius scientist has probably been working hard on updating the new digs (with some input by Lang, no doubt). The first step in combating new threats HAS to be new attire. That’s superhero fashion 101.

Although it's a very rough look I gotta say I like the new streamlined look. The first costume looked a little clunky, what with all the gear, tubing and bulky additions. But now that Lang has become a real hero it's time for him to get an upgrade, and the natural step would make him look similar to Wasp, whose costume is smoother around the edges than Lang's first costume. I'm looking forward to seeing more of their new duds as more and more pics come out, and I hope that with about nine months left before the movie we'll see early promo art with the two featured quite soon. You know what they say: small things come to those who wait.
