Whether or not Megan Fox got canned or legitimately walked away from explodinare Michael Bay and his rock ’em sock ’em robot sequel TRANSFORMERS 3, the fact is that the hot but talky brunette is now gone. What does that mean? Rumors galore!

With there now being a vacancy in the Sam Witwicky Love Interest Department, it seems every single piece of quality trim in Hollywood is now in the running. Yesterday, TheWrap claimed that Gemma Arterton (PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, CLASH OF THE TITANS) was the current frontrunner. They also name-dropped models Bar Refaeli, Miranda Kerr, and Brooklyn Decker (“Chuck”, “Ugly Betty”), none of which seem like plausible candidates in any way, shape, or form, let’s be frank.

And now AICN has gotten into the act. According to “highly trustworthy sources”, they’re claiming the following ladies are also candidates: Emmanuelle Chriqui (“Entourage”), Jessica Lowndes (“90120”), Zoe Saldana (AVATAR), Hayden Panettiere (“Heroes”), Camilla Belle (10,000 BC), Ashley Greene (TWILIGHT), Amber Heard (PINEAPPLE EXPRESS), Julianne Hough (“Show Me the Money”), Vanessa Hudgens (HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL), and Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Part of me wants to call bullshit on at least half of these names (Again, Bar Refaeli? Julianne Hough? Rosie Huntington? I mean, really?), and the other part of me just doesn’t care and is simply enjoying all the women on display.
