Aubrey Plaza wants to learn about The Hand Job

10.28.2010

Let's just get it out there. There is a script on the black list from Maggie Carey titled, THE HAND JOB.

The script isn't on it's way to becoming a movie just yet. No studio or production company has snatched it up. It does have one thing going for it though--Aubrey Plaza. The lovely brunette is attached to play the lead role of Brandy Clark. The screenplay is a comedy about a 17-year old girl just out of high school who decides that she needs to learn about sex and the activities that go along with it, including hand jobs.

THE HAND JOB is set in 1993 and is based off of similar experiences that writer Clark had as a teen. Obviously there are some very raunchy moments since the girl is going to be learning all about hand jobs and other various sexual acts.

Cinematical says that producer Jennifer Todd (MEMENTO, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE) is attached to the script. Currently they are trying to get more actors on the project and then will start looking for financing.

I am all over this HANG JOB thing. I just hope they don't change the title.

Extra Tidbit: I wonder if this film will have awesome music from the 90's in it. Perhaps some Meat Loaf? "I would do anything for love, but I won't do that."
