Awesome Art We've Found Around The Net: American Psycho, Ghostbusters, James Bond, The Punisher

Mar. 16, 2013by: Theodore Bond

Some cliche somewhere said that 'a picture is worth a thousand words.' This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. "Awesome Artwork We've Found Around The Net" is the outlet for that passion. In this column I will showcase the kick-ass artwork of some great artists, with the hopes that these artists get the attention they deserve. That's the aim, if you have any questions or comments, or even suggestions of art or other great artists, feel free to contact me any time at theodorebond@joblo.com.

It's also a great forum of nostalgia. Many old cartoon and movie heroes, seemingly forgotten, appear to be still alive and kicking in other peoples memories as well. It's great!

I agree with your comment entirely. I fear though that the, 'toon' section of a favorite (of mine, and many) journalism site, has become the highlight of said site.

This week's arts are the best by far. I love all of them. But if I have to pick one, I'd go with Ghostbusters. It's just epic.

My whole life I thought I'd never see a Vader Elvis. And now I have, and it is glorious.

Possibly my favorite week yet!

American Psycho - fantastic. My boy, Creature! '68 Comeback Special Vader - brilliant. Bond - wonderful. I love the "are the" on the Ghostbusters one. And that Punisher one - confusing, unsettling, but awesome nonetheless!

I love em. I just thought Patrick Bateman used a Walkman, not a Discman. Or do I be misrememberin'?

I know this gets said about every 'Awesome Art' column, but these truly are the best that I've seen to date. Every one is absolutely amazing, but I say (and of course this is just a matter of opinion), the Ghibli one is one of the best ever featured in this column.
