Awesome Art We've Found Around The Net:District 9, Wolverine, The Worlds End

Jan. 25, 2014by: Theodore Bond

Some cliche somewhere said that 'a picture is worth a thousand words.' This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. "Awesome Artwork We've Found Around The Net" is the outlet for that passion. In this column I will showcase the kick-ass artwork of some great artists, with the hopes that these artists get the attention they deserve. That's the aim, if you have any questions or comments, or even suggestions of art or other great artists, feel free to contact me any time at theodorebond@joblo.com.

I thought for sure that Drew Struzan had done The World's End poster.
(And before you say it, YES I know he's "retired")

Great crop of artwork this week, most focusing on lone figures (until the awesome Drew Struzan-esque World's End poster). The sadness, solitude and detail the District 9 and Beauty and the Beast pieces forms this weird, wonderful symmetry. And Natasha is hawt.

Black Widow is good. Natasha is usually serious. But, she does have a fun side. And, this image has her smiling and swashbuckling.
Reservoir Dogs is good. Everyone remembers the ear scene if he remembers anything. Here, we see the ear as focal point on a background seemingly of blood in the shape of a human head.
The World's End is good. The on-line community comments often that movie posters lack sophistication. This World's End image would have the craftsmanship of old. It could be the
